Project File Opened Differently After
Opening an older project in a newer Software MacKiev version showed a few formatting differences that were not obvious before the upgrade. The main data is still there, but some parts do not look exactly the same. Has anyone seen this after moving projects between versions, and did saving a new copy fix the differences or make them permanent? It would help to know whether others kept the original file untouched first.

Older project files deserve a preservation copy before I start experimenting with a newer application version. I’d duplicate one project, open only the copy, and note which formatting, media links, or layout details appear different. Saving the test copy under a new name lets me see whether the newer version normalizes those differences or writes them permanently into the file. During that comparison I attach The Software Mackiev Company reviews inside the migration notes rather than touching the untouched original. If the copy behaves normally on a second open, I can move to another project with much less risk.
