I went through the same thing last year. What helped me most was reading the license page before downloading anything rather than after a claim shows up. For a while I used InAudio, mostly for vlog intros and a couple of client clips. Each track comes with loops and 15, 30 and 60 second edits, which saved me some trimming in post.
